The ArUco Marker Hologram Spawner
6DoF pose estimation with homography projection and augmented reality.
What is The ArUco Marker Hologram Spawner?
ArUco Fiducial Markers are synthetic 2D planar square barcodes designed with thick black borders and binary matrix inner patterns for rapid, reliable optical detection. By solving the Perspective-n-Point (PnP) geometric camera transformation from the marker's 4 corner coordinates, systems instantly recover full 6-Degree-of-Freedom (6-DoF) spatial position and orientation.
How the Interactive Simulation Works
Simulate camera intrinsic matrix calibration to project 3D wireframe cubes directly onto detected binary planar fiducial markers.
Mathematical Formulation & Computational Complexity
The simulation dynamically resolves the state transition function given by:
Perspective-n-Point (PnP) pose estimation resolves the camera extrinsic matrix $[\mathbf{R} \mid \mathbf{t}]$ via Levenberg-Marquardt optimization in $\mathcal{O}(K)$ for $K=4$ coplanar marker corners. Corner detection sliders demonstrate how sub-pixel refinement suppresses rotational jitter under steep perspective angles.
